5 Steps to Design and Develop your Website

- Structure the framework for your site. Before any design can take place, a well thought out information architecture, or structural design, must take place to plan for the most intuitive path for users to access your information.
- Design of your site begins with wireframes (the physical layout of your page) and user testing to make sure the layout and navigation is simple and intuitive.
- Once the layout is finalized, the graphic elements such as color, typography and style elements can be applied.
- Testing is the final step. I test in multiple browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc.) as well as on a Mac and a PC.
